"The greatest joy in my life is being a part of our family! And no matter how long the distance is between , or how long it's been, you are always in my heart and thoughts.  Life is a journey and with the Love we have for each other we can find the strength to travel anywhere."    Love,  Chuck

"The greatest gift in life is Love!  And you've always been the first to show me that!  My heart is alive because of you and you will always have my gift of Love!"   Love, Chuck

To My Mom,

I have sat and listened to the pleasant morning birds’ call for another. I have stood at the forest edge listening to the cool breeze through the trees. But nothing compares to my mother's voice.

I have exposed my skin to burning rashes of nature.

I have experienced pains from bumps and bruises that

the best medication would not heal as well as my mother's care.

I have sat under the warm spring sun and tried to understand

just a little bit about this world and this life I am living.

And through all the thoughts I've thought and all the choices

I have made and friends and foes I have come across, there is only one thing I would change if I could do it all over again.

That would be to turn around to my mother and say:

"Thank you for my life, thank you for your understanding, and thank you for your Love!"

Thanks, Mom,

I Love You.

Chuck

TO MY DAD

I got it from you, my father,
It was all you had to give.
So it's mine to use and cherish,
For as long as I may live.
Everything else given by you,
it can all be replaced.
But a black mark on my name,
your name, can never be erased.
So I will guard it wisely,
after all is said and done.
I'll be glad to keep the name spotless,
so one day I can give it to my son.
But today isn't just about
what you've done and what I will do.
Because there is so much more,
more reasons why I love you!
You have always stood strong,
especially for what you believe in.
And you have always been there
for your family again and again.
You have traveled through your entire life,
walking at your own stride.
And for that I'll always carry
the family name with pride.
So thanks for being a Father and a Dad,
I can be proud to call mine.
But mostly thanks to God,
For you and all the time.

Love ,
Your Son, Chuck

Rose, Large

On a day when it seems that winter has had a relapse and the leaves have long since fallen and your breath can be seen in the cold winter air, remember not to let depression set in on your soul, but allow it to bloom like the first red rose of spring under flowering Oaks on the edge of a ocean of grasses that seem to sway to their own rhythm when the wind blows.

Set yourself free from the negative.  Flaunt the inner beauty you possess so much of. And if you find yourself in that forest of wintertime and no one has left you a path to follow, call your brother, and I will arrive with hands extended to lead you back into that land that enlightens your beauty so much.

                   Love,

Your Brother,   Chuck

BIBLICAL PASSAGES CHUCK USED TO EXPRESS HIS LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY!

Don't ask me to leave you, or to turn back from following after you,

For wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge;

Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.

Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried.

The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me.    Ruth 1:16:17

Look straight ahead and fix your eyes on what lies before you.  Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe. Don't get sidetracked, Keep your feet from following evil. Proverbs 4:25:27
